Chinmaya Vidyalaya was inaugurated by Poojya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda on 13th Dec 2000 at Kalathara, Chellanam Panchayath, West Kochi to meet the ongoing demand for affordable quality education. CVK had its roots at Vadakkemadom, Mattancherry where it started functioning from 22nd June 1995. It was the fruit of Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s long cherished dream. In accordance with Poojya Gurudev’s vision, earnest efforts were taken by the members of the Mission resulting in the acquisition of the premises at Vadakkemadom, Mattancherry. The Vidyalaya was officially inaugurated with the Kinder Garten section. Since then, the Vidyalaya’s ladder of success seemed to have no limits.
Officially inaugurated in 1995 at Mattancherry, our system focuses on learning environments to provide holistic learning.
On 13th Dec 2000, Poojya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda inaugurated our Kalamassery campus.
