REPORT OF CHINMAYA KINDERGARTEN INAUGURATION

	Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kalathara, West Kochi has set new benchmarks in the field of education. We have been at the forefront of introducing innovative ways of teaching, to enrich the learning experience right from Kindergarten. On the morning of 27^th May, 2022 (Friday), a long cherished dream of Chinmaya Kindergarten came to life. Eminent stalwarts of Chinmaya Mission, Swami Viviktanandaji, Shri. A Gopalakrishnan, Chief Sevak, CMECT - GC, Shri. Rajesh V Patel, President, BoM, CV Kalathara, West Kochi, Shri. Madhusudhan S Gupta, Secretary, BoM, CV Kalathara, West Kochi, Dr. M Anil Kumar, Principal, CV Kalathara, West Kochi graced the dias. Shri. Vijayakumar, President CV Kottayam & Alappuzha, Dr. Leela Ramamurthy, Educational Co-ordinator, CMECT, guests, well-wishers and parents had all gathered to take part in the celebration of the inauguration of the new Chinmaya Kindergarten, Vadakkemadom unit, Mattancherry.
The new dawn at Vadakkemadom was ushered in as the auspicious Ashtadravyaganapati Homam and Vishnu Pooja were performed at 6:00 am, prior to the inaugural function. Swami Viviktanandaji was proffered Poornakumbham, when he was given a grand welcome by the school band, Hindustan Scouts and Guides instructors, teachers and students of Class XII, escorting him to the inaugural point. Swamiji inaugurated the Kindergarten. The auspicious lamp was lit by Swamiji and other dignitaries, followed by the Chinmaya Aarati.
	The President of the Vidyalaya, Shri. Rajesh V Patel welcomed the august gathering as the distinguished guests were adhered respectful bouquets of welcome. In his presidential address, Shri. A Gopalakrishnan, Chief Sevak, CMECT-GC, wished the Vidyalaya to scale greater heights, upholding the vision of Pujya Gurudev.
The talents of our students who ingrained their names in Asia Book of Records in the field of Bharatanatyam were recognized and Swamiji blessed them with mementos. Shri. Sreekumar, the contractor was honoured in recognition and appreciation for his hard work. Smt. Nimmi Raghavan, In - Charge, Chinmaya Kindergarten, felicitated the gathering. Our Principal, Dr. M Anil Kumar, professed his joy and thankfulness for this momentous occasion in his discourse on academic achievements of our Vidyalaya. Vote of thanks was proposed by Smt. Pinky Mohanlal, Vice - principal of the Vidyalaya.
	The school choir enthralled the audience with melodious bhajans. The function concluded with Shanti Mantra and National Anthem. The dignitaries, guests, parents, students and staff were given sumptuous sadya thereafter. The curtains drew on the historic occasion infusing unparalleled enthusiasm in us as we witnessed a harmonious blending of the new Chinmaya Kindergarten with the home and society. May Gurudev’s vision on education transform the lives of all of us.
